UPDATE CONFERENCE
5th & 6th August 1999 Common Room, University House The Australian National University The Burma Update is the result of a growing interest at the Australian National University in Burma studies, and an attempt to bring together members of academic and non-academic communities that are interested in a substantive examination of the contemporary issues facing Burma. The conference is modelled on the annual Indonesia Update and Vietnam Update held at ANU, and is focused on current developments and future prospects in Burmese politics. All are welcome.
