Burma Update Conference BURMA UPDATE CONFERENCE

5th & 6th August 1999

Common Room, University House

The Burma Update is the result of a growing interest at the Australian

National University in Burma studies, and an attempt to bring together

members of academic and non-academic communities that are interested in a

substantive examination of the contemporary issues facing Burma. The

held at ANU, and is focused on current developments and future prospects in

Burmese politics. All are welcome.
