Television

At present, state controlled television is virtually all that is available in Burma.  Rupert Murdoch's Sky TV is available to the very few who have access to satellite dishes.  Most of the programming is generated by the Psychological Warfare Department of the Ministry of Information and consists of news broadcasts of senior officers inspecting various facilities and "giving the necessary instructions."
