community. It does not try to cover the whole of this community or the organisations interested in Burma. Many of

the groups and individuals have specialized interests and information which may be mentioned where not obvious from

their titles. The Directory is in three overlapping parts:

Thematic, Geographic and Corporate,

Organisations, where known, with UN (ECOSOC) consultative status are marked "CS"

Where I have been uncertain of an item, I have put (?) or if there are alternatives, I have put one of them [in square

brackets].
